500th Post
Excitement abounds here at Stars & Slights as we celebrate our first 500 posts.
To mark the occasion, I've put together a little photoshop featuring some of our favorite characters. There could be many, many others, but space was limited and I chose mainly based on the pictures I found and what I thought I could do with them.
We'd like to thank everyone who actually reads this blog regularly, and even the people who randomly stumble upon our little corner of the Internet.
During our time sporadically posting, we've managed to attract over 31,000 unique visitors literally spanning the globe, and a great many of you have chosen to keep coming back.
We hope you enjoy the things we find to bring to your attention, and your patience is beyond appreciated.
I hope in the coming posts we begin to really challenge you intellectually and perhaps see what kind of a sense of humor everyone has. Content will continue to vary based on our personal whims and while certain individuals don't post often enough (AHEM!) we will continue to strive for an enjoyable, unexpected read every time you stop by.
Keep reading and leave some comments to let us know what you want and think. Just remember, I relish tearing apart dumb/ignorant/insulting comments so be true to yourselves and comment intelligently.

Welcome Andrew Sienkiewicz to Stars & Slights

In many ways it's been a long time coming.
As the readership of Stars & Slights has grown, we've looked for ways to continue to please the readership with new and exciting content.
As we continue onward in the new year, I'm pleased to announce that longtime friend and occasional contributor to the blog Andrew Sienkiewicz will officially join Stars & Slights on a regular basis—or as regular a basis as any of us keep up with.
I look forward to plenty of excellent content from Andy.
You can continue to expect contributions from Brian and myself as well as a post from the esteemed Christopher Jones.

Cutting Room Floor - In Our Luck
On June 27, 2008 rock gods Cutting Room Floor brought forth into this world a masterpiece of Alternative Rock. Their second official album, entitled "In Our Luck" introduced a more mature and polished sound thanks in part to the addition of keyboards and a better, more thorough understanding of the recording process.
CRF is humbled to share with you the entire track list from "In Our Luck" via video format, although all of the videos lack traditional video footage (except the recycled version of Garage Band Anthem). The videos that follow comprise the setlist for "In Our Luck" in sequential order.
If you would like to receive a copy of "In Our Luck" please email the band at crfmusic@yahoo.com and provide your contact information. Please do not steal it by using html code trickery. Stealing is for losers and sinners so stop what you're doing now and just listen. Thanks and enjoy!
Track 1 - Rainy Day
Track 2 - Walking Alone
Track 3 - Z
Track 4 - Victim of Circumstance
Track 5 - Drive Me
Track 6 - Goodnight Boston
Track 7 - Forsyth Street
Track 8 - Stars And Slights
Track 9 - Garage Band Anthem
Track 10 - 11:12
Note - The sound for "Z" and "11:12" is a little off and I'm not sure why. I've tried different uploads and settings for both of them to no avail.

Welcome!
Greetings to all of our friends, families, fellow bloggers, and internet surfers. Consider this as the first among (hopefully) many posts from Stars and Slights.
We have never done this before but we promise not to disappoint you. In the unlikely event that you are disappointed, you have permission to tell us why we suck, why you suck, or why you couldn't understand the intellectual and satiric nature of our posts. But most importantly, tell us what you'd like to see us do to improve our website or impart some overall blogging knowledge. Seriously though, we want to provide you with the best experience possible while viewing our site, so please leave your feedback!
