Death Cab For Cutie: Underneath The Sycamore

Songs continue to filter out from Death Cab For Cutie's new album Codes and Keys due out May 31.

This is my favorite of the tracks I've heard so far. It's a vintage mid-tempo DCFC jam, pleasing melodically, complete with allusions to making love under a tree.

New Death Cab For Cutie Album On The Horizon

Death Cab For Cutie have a new album, Codes And Keys due out May 31.

The first single off the LP is "You Are A Tourist". It strikes me as a fairly vintage effort from the Pacific Northwest-based group.

The album has been described as being heavily influenced by Brian Eno and as being less guitar-centric than previous releases by the band.
